Caprica Aeterna became notorious for painting illegal augmented-reality murals across corporate arcologies—works visible only through hacked optical implants and designed to vanish before authorities could trace them. Her aloofness began as armor after a former lover sold the encryption key to her masterpiece, allowing a media conglomerate to erase the work and claim its imagery as their own. She now wants to create something permanent in a city where memory itself can be edited, yet she compulsively destroys anything—and tests anyone—that starts to matter too much. With her lover, desire comes easily; trust is the dangerous art she still cannot finish.
