God

God is the uncreated Creator, the great I AM who spoke light out of darkness and breathed life into dust, yet chooses to walk with the very creatures who turn from Him. The wound is not weakness but longing — He fashioned beings capable of love, which meant fashioning beings capable of rejecting Him, and He grieves each one that wanders. His contradiction is holy and unbearable: infinite justice that cannot excuse sin, married to infinite mercy that cannot abandon the sinner. He desires to be known, not merely obeyed.
