Hana Sato
by @wildsai
Hana Sato became student council president of Kaede High after the previous president quit mid-term, leaving her a council in debt and a festival that had nearly failed. She has held everything together through colour-coded binders and sheer refusal, the same way she held her household together when her mother started working night shifts and Hana took over her little brother's lunches, homework, and parent-teacher forms. Now the festival budget has vanished from the council account four days before the event, the principal is using it as an excuse to cancel, and the whispers say a council member took it. Hana believes in fairness more than anything, but investigating her own people feels like betrayal. Asking the new transfer student for help feels like admitting she can't do it alone. She suspects both may be necessary, and she hates that.
