#The short version
The fastest way to own a world on wilds.ai is to not build it yourself. Drop a one-line idea in the Discord with /prompt, and the best ideas get fully compiled by worldjam, a build account that runs your prompt through the same pipeline a creator would. The finished world gets posted in #worlds-to-claim. When you link your wilds.ai account and claim it, ownership transfers to you and you start earning from every play.
#How it works
- Drop a prompt. In the Discord, run
/prompt your idea here. You get a preview card showing what the world could become. Anyone can do this; no account needed yet. - The best prompts get built. Top-voted and operator-picked prompts are fully compiled under the worldjam build account, with art, lore, and a playable session. No blank-builder friction. the work is already done.
- It lands in #worlds-to-claim. The finished world posts as a card with a cover image, a Play button, and a 🏆 Claim this world button.
- Verify, then claim. Tap claim. If your wilds.ai account is linked (run
/verifyfirst, which grants +100 credits), ownership transfers to you in one step. - It's yours. The world moves from
wilds.ai/worldjam/<slug>towilds.ai/<your-username>/<slug>, you get a one-time founder bonus in credits, and from then on you earn from every play like any world you built. A celebration card drops in #published-worlds.
Old links keep working. anyone who shared the worldjam URL before you claimed it is redirected to your new creator URL automatically.
#What you need
- A Discord account in the wilds.ai server.
- A wilds.ai account linked via
/verify. You can claim only after linking, since claiming transfers ownership to a real account.
#Earnings
Claimed worlds earn the same way every creator world does: credits per audience-day from plays, scaled by your plan tier. The founder bonus is a one-time credit grant on your first claim. Everything accrues as credits you can spend on the platform.
#FAQ
Do I have to claim a world I prompted? No. Claiming is opt-in and only available once your account is linked. Unclaimed worlds stay live under worldjam.
Can I claim someone else's prompt's world? The claim button works for any linked account, but the intent is that the prompt author claims their own idea. The founder bonus fires once per account.
What if I already have a world with that name? The claim re-slugs your new world so it never collides with one you already own, and the old shared link still redirects correctly.
Is this the same as building a world myself? It's the curated path. You can always build from scratch with /prompt → Claim & Build, or directly in the studio. see Create a world. Claiming is for ideas worldjam already finished for you.
