Wilds AI Universal Exporter — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Wilds AI Universal AI Chat & Story Exporter browser extension handles your information. Our core philosophy is simple: your data is yours, and we don't want it.
This policy covers the extension only. Use of wilds.ai itself is governed by the main Privacy Policy.
1. No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or user data. All chat extraction and JSON generation are performed locally within your browser's sandbox.
2. Data Usage
The extension accesses the text content of your chats on Character.AI, AI Dungeon, and Janitor AI solely for the purpose of letting you export that data. The data is processed in-memory and is never sent to our servers or any third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your exported chats are handled by your browser's download manager or your system's clipboard. We do not maintain any logs, databases, or copies of your exported files.
4. Third-Party Services
This extension interacts with Character.AI, AI Dungeon, and Janitor AI to extract text you have access to. We are not affiliated with these platforms, and this policy does not cover how those platforms handle your data. Please refer to their respective privacy policies.
5. Permissions Disclosure
To function, the extension requires certain permissions:
- activeTab / Scripting: To read the text on the page you choose to export.
- Downloads: To save the exported file to your computer.
- Storage: To remember your basic extension preferences (if any).
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. If we make significant changes that affect how the extension handles data, we will provide notice through the extension interface and update the Effective Date above.
