Choose any character you have chatted with, or one of the built-in watch-along coaches made for exactly this.
Share your screen
Share a tab, a window, or your whole screen. Frames are analyzed live and never stored unless you opt in.
Play, and they react
As you play, the character reacts out loud, calls out the moments that matter, and offers a tip when you are stuck.

About two to four seconds from what happens on screen to a spoken reaction, so it feels like someone is right there with you.
Their real voice
Every character speaks in their own voice, the same one you hear when you chat with them.
A live animated face
Every Tagalong character has a live avatar: an animated face in the holo stage, lips synced to every word on paid plans. Staff characters come ready — and you can forge a face for your own character from its portrait in the character editor.
Tips when you want them
Ask a question out loud and the character looks up what it knows about the game before it answers.
Works with any game
Steam, browser, emulator, console capture. If it is on your screen, a character can watch along.
Live by default
Frames are analyzed in the moment and discarded. Nothing is kept unless you turn on save-highlights for a session.

Is my screen recorded?
No. Frames are analyzed live and discarded. Nothing is kept unless you turn on save-highlights for a session.
Which characters can watch?
Any character you have chatted with, plus the built-in watch-along coaches that come ready to go.
Does it slow my game down?
No. Your game runs on your own machine at full speed; the character only watches a lightweight stream of frames.
How is this different from Solo and Co-op?
Solo is playing on your own. Co-op is playing a world together with other people. Tagalong is the third way: a character watches your screen and reacts, on any game, even ones outside wilds.ai.
What do I need to start?
A signed-in account and a character. Start from any character’s chat with “Watch me play”, or open Tagalong and pick who rides along.
